Pumpkin Patch

Went to the pumpkin patch in Tracy with my Nephews- Scotty and Matthew, and my Sister Sandi! We had a lot of fun, and all left with our own pumpkins (Thanks to Sandi!). I'm excited for my white pumpkin! Can't wait to carve or decorate it with Derrick. :)

Recap of this past weekend.

I wasn't able to blog, because I didn't take my laptop with me when I went back to Sacramento. Anyway, here's a few bits and pieces of what I remember.

Saturday- Had cocktails and went shopping with my co-worker Jani after work. That was a lot of fun! Got myself a new Betsey Johnson bracelet! :)

Sunday- Church, Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, and watched, "The Town" with Derrick <3.

Monday- Derrick saw a bunny on the street, while he was on the way to my house and he tried to catch it to give to me! hehe! So cute! I could just imagine him following a bunny around the neighborhood! :)

Shopping!

Nice & relaxing solo shopping trip at the Modesto and Tracy malls. :)

Women's Rights!

Having a Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies, I guess you can call me a..."Pro Feminist." :P Women struggled and fought long and hard for the right to vote, So I shouldn't take this privilege to vote for granted. This "woman of color" has voted! :)

Racquel and Annabelle

I was able to hang out with my best friends, Annabelle and Racquel for a little bit today. It always brings me back to our high school days. Life was a lot simpler back then, and fun was all we had on our minds. I'm blessed to still be able to keep in touch with them, and still call them my best friends. Love you girls! :)

Taking a different approach..

I haven't blogged in such a long time, so I've decided to come back and do things a little differently. From reading my past blogs, they make me sound angry and cynical. I'm not always like that (hehe!), so I'm going to switch it up and try something new. I'm going to focus on the little bits of happiness that I encounter each day. So often we focus on the negative aspects in life, and ignore the littlest simple pleasures that we are blessed with on a daily basis. I'm going to focus on the little blessings that make me smile, and record them here each day. Warning: It may be boring and weird to you, but I'm amused by anything and everything! Nobody said that you have to read this. :)
